SKYLINE | An original design inspired by the city of Cusco, Perú.

Cusco, Perú is located in the heart of the Andes Mountains in South America, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The historic city-center is home to architecture from the ancient Incan empire as well as cathedrals and plazas built by the Spanish Conquistadors.

Although steeped in history, Cusco is a decidedly modern place. It is currently the second-fastest growing city in the world, and there are constructions projects and new buildings being erected on almost every corner of this bustling metropolis. The energy and dynamism of the growing urban center inspired the original RaisaAntonia SKYLINE design.

MORAY | An original design inspired by the Inca ruins of Perú.

MORAY is an Inca ruin located in the Sacred Valley close to Cusco, Perú. An architectural masterpiece, this ruyin is known for it’s concentric stone terraces intersected by Angular pathways. This geometry and visual rhythm inspired the original RaisaAntonia MORAY design.

Researchers believe the MORAY site was used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory. Tyhewse savvy gardeners and early scientists used the micro-climates at each terrace level to grow thousands of varieties of potatoes, corn and beams. Quite a feat given the steep sloes, high elevations and dramatic changes in rainfall found here in the Andes Mountains.
